“The Cat Clinic are always patient and understanding that my cat is very nervous and work carefully with him. It certainly helps that there are no dogs there to upset him. My cat is elderly and has a degenerative condition but I know that I can get support and help quickly when I need it.”

Thank you to the Oxford Cat Clinic vets!!!!

Thanks to the vets and nurses, our little Lipa is alive today. I am so glad we came for a second opinion (after another vet charged us hundreds of pounds only to tell us to put her down), we followed OCC’s protocol to manage her acute kidney failure, and today she has pulled through and is brighter than ever.

They take a human approach and you can tell they’re here to make a difference and are personally invested. The staff were so lovely when Lipa was hospitalised overnight, communicated clearly the prognosis, approach, and kept us informed. I can’t say enough- if you’re a cat owner in Oxford, don’t hesitate to come here!

“We haven’t looked back since switching to this vets. They are caring and knowledgeable, taking the time to make visits as stress free as possible (for cat and owner!). I was impressed that they kept costs down wherever possible, such as providing prescriptions to order medication online and not doing unnecessary tests. You feel listened to.”

“My cat is so much happier here than at veterinary practices that have dogs in the waiting room! And at other places I’ve been in the past where vets see mostly dogs they sometimes approach cats the way they would dogs…which does not work with my guy! The staff at Oxford Cat Clinic is extremely friendly and knowledgable. Both Claudia and Eleanor have been very helpful and interacted well with my cat, who is generally pretty shy. Highly recommended.”

“The Cat Clinic is simply perfect. We’ve been to both the Botley and Marston clinics, and the service was exceptional at both. There is a genuine warmth to everyone in clinic, and I really trust them with my cat’s welfare. I am an anxious cat owner, and they take the time to make sure I understand what’s going on and to reassure me where needed. I would recommend them to any cat owner. Both our cats also love being there – it’s all purrs and snuggles.”

A great cat clinic. For 3 years, we’ve been visiting Dr. Lauren Demos for annual check ups, including blood tests. We also went to the clinic when we had worries about our cats (e.g. one of our cats wasn’t eating for a few days). She kindly explains the risk, benefit, and likely outcomes every time we visit her; she also makes decisions in the best interest of the cats. You can count on her.”

“We are so happy and astounded by the service of the Oxford Cat Clinic. After previously being registered with a popular vet chain that had poor service, we decided to go more local. Even though their prices are slightly more than that of the chain, it is 100% worth it. Even just having a peaceful, dog-free waiting room makes all the difference in the world to your vet experience. Their monthly health plan is also very reasonably priced and we signed up so easily. All staff from the reception team to the surgeon have been so welcoming and helpful – we would travel to this vet even if we moved an hour away. Thank you so much!”

“I cannot fault The Cat Clinic they are absolutely wonderful and since I found them many years ago I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. They will always fit you in no matter what time of day and the care they give your cat is second to none. My cat needs a lot of care and attention as she is very elderly but my vet Eleanor gives her the ultimate attention for all her problems.”

Just moved back to the UK from abroad and was thrilled to find a Vet that’s *very* responsive and digital. Emailed receipts, easy sign-up, a really nice atmosphere at the location and very pleasant people who clearly care a great deal about cats. Absolutely stellar service, I will always be using them in the future and I can’t recommend highly enough.

Communication with Owners: “Just moved back to the UK from abroad and was thrilled to find a Vet that’s *very* responsive and digital.”

Their love for, and knowledge of, cats is quite extraordinary but so is their sensitivity towards the owners. Last week was a nightmare for me as my loved cat fought his final battle. For four days the team at the Cat Clinic fought for him tooth and nail. I am quite sure that, had it been possible to find a way of saving him, they would have done so. But it was not to be. There can be few more painful experiences than standing by as your beloved pet of 15 years is put to sleep but, from the moment that I walked into the clinic Eleanor, the vet, treated me with such gentleness and sensitivity that she somehow made the unbearable bearable. I have never before been treated with such genuine loving kindness when faced with such a situation. Tigger will stay in my heart for ever but, so will memories of the kindness and empathy shown by Eleanor and all the other vets and veterinary nurses at the practice. My thanks to you all. You do a great job.
