Our kidney club is a nurse-led renal clinic for cats (and their owners) who are under our care and need advice and support following a diagnosis of kidney disease.
We’ll invite you to bring your cat along to an appointment with one of our nurses. During your consultation you will have plenty of time to discuss any questions or concerns you have with your cat and their treatment plan. Our nurse will also:
- Take your cat’s blood pressure
- Check your cat’s weight
- Discuss different food options
- Demonstrate how to administer fluid therapy (if required)
- Share medication tips and tricks

There’s a lot to take in when your cat is first diagnosed with renal (kidney) disease. We understand this and kidney club is the ideal place to discuss the condition with a professional after the initial diagnosis.
Cost
The consultation costs £30.
Please note:
Kidney club is only appropriate if your cat has been placed on treatment plan by one of our vets. If you think your cat is unwell then they must see a vet.
