Dental disease is extremely common in cats and can start to appear when your cat is about three years old. If left unchecked, it can progress as dental plaque and tartar continue to build up over time.
“Their love for, and knowledge of, cats is quite extraordinary but so is their sensitivity towards the owners. Last week was a nightmare for me as my loved cat fought his final battle. For four days the team at the Cat Clinic fought for him tooth and nail. I am quite sure that, had it been possible to find a way of saving him, they would have done so. But it was not to be. There can be few more painful experiences than standing by as your beloved pet of 15 years is put to sleep but, from the moment that I walked into the clinic Eleanor, the vet, treated me with such gentleness and sensitivity that she somehow made the unbearable bearable. I have never before been treated with such genuine loving kindness when faced with such a situation. Tigger will stay in my heart for ever but, so will memories of the kindness and empathy shown by Eleanor and all the other vets and veterinary nurses at the practice. My thanks to you all. You do a great job.”
