As fully independent practices, the Oxford Vet Clinic and Oxford Cat Clinic are looking to build upon their well-established reputation in both first-opinion for all small animals and referral-level feline medicine.
To assist us in this journey we are looking for an experienced self-motivated RVN who relishes the opportunity to work with small animals and for whom the client and patient experience is paramount.
While no additional RVN qualifications are required, previous experience in a similar veterinary nursing role is advantageous.
Hours and Benefits:
- Salary £30,000.
- You will need to be able to work 1 weekend in 5 with time off in lieu the following week.
- No emergency OOH. Inpatient checks only for stable inpatients on a rota basis – 1 weekday late check per week. Weekend checks shared with the duty vet. Bonus payments are made for any checks carried out.
- 5 weeks holiday plus 8 bank holidays (we don’t work bank holidays!).
- £750 CPD allowance plus 3 days paid leave.
- RCVS and VDS fees paid.
- Sponsorship available for the right candidate with an RCVS registrable qualification.
Essentials:
- You must be either willing to relocate or already living within easily commutable distance of the Clinics.
- You must be able to take part in the weekend rota.
- You will be required to work at both our Marston and Botley Clinics.
- You must have a full driving licence and access to your own car.
- You must be registered with the RCVS.
